In 2020, < rotor > was already on the verge of starting a long-term
exchange, a project of "Amicizia culturale" with NOS Visual Arts
Production from Bologna. Then the pandemic intervened.

But now the time has come, and a book presentation marks the
beginning. On Wednesday, 1 December, the artist whose work is
the subject of the book, Davide D'Elia, a curator from NOS,
Elisa Del Prete, and the designer, artist and senior lecturer at
Institute of Design and Communication FH JOANNEUM, Illya Pavlov,
will speak. Moderation: Anton Lederer, co-director of < rotor >.

TIEPIDO COOL is an editorial project conceived by Davide D'Elia
and realised by Viaindustriae publishing curated by Elisa Del Prete
and Silvia Litardi of NOS Visual Arts Production in which, for the
first time, the artist's research flows into a narrative that is articulated
on the basis of the poetic criterion introduced by the title.
The two words, Tiepido, Italian for lukewarm, and Cool, English,
guide the succession of works in a mainly visual progression that
introduces sources, forms, materials and moods from which they
originate: a path that privileges the perceptive experience rather
than the chronological-biographical one.

Tiepido Cool All Over Graz at < rotor > is the third stop of Tiepido
Cool All Over, an international tour of presentations and activities
that started in Bologna for the book launch and will end at the
MAXXI Museum in Rome in spring 2023.
